Callista is a media composer based in Los Angeles. She grew up in Eugene, Oregon, and was classically trained on the piano starting at four years of age. She attended the University of Oregon, graduating with a dual bachelors degree with majors in Psychology, General Music, and Spanish. She later completed an MFA in Film Music Composition at the UNC School of the Arts, and has since written music for film, video games, advertisements, and podcasts. She is comfortable writing in a variety of musical genres, including science fiction, drama, fantasy, adventure, electronic and synth wave, horror, ambient chill, lo-fi, and solo contemporary piano.
When she is not composing music, Callista enjoys running, gaming, hiking, reading, and hanging out with loved ones.
